Venerable GALILEO NICOLINI

Galileo Nicolini was a professed religious of the Congregation of the Passion of Jesus Christ. He sensed a vocation to Passionist life at the time of his First Communion.

Despite the brevity of his life, he possessed great gifts of holiness.
When he was diagnosed with tuberculosis, he was transferred to Monte Argentario in the hope that the good air would benefit his health; however, he died a few days after his arrival. With special permission from the Superior General, he made religious profession “in articulo mortis”.

He was declared Venerable in 1981.
