New Superior of the Community of Sts. John and Paul

On October 12, 2021, the Superior General, Fr. Joachim Rego, appointed Fr. NATALE PANETTA CP (MAPRAES) as the new superior of the community of Sts. John and Paul, to replace Fr. Luis Alberto Cano CP, who had to resign for serious health reasons.

P. Natale Panetta is 58 years old (of which 38 years of religious profession and 32 years of ordination).

After completing his studies, he worked immediately in the area of formation, especially in the postulancy phase. After obtaining a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology in Rome, he returned to take care of the provincial postulancy, remaining in formation for 14 years, from 1993 to 2007.

While he was director of postulants, for seven years he served as Provincial Consultor of the PIET Province with responsibility for the area of 'formation, vocation and studies'.

From 2007 to 2011 he was superior of the community of Recanati, while at the same time serving as Provincial Consultor in charge of "community life and ongoing formation".

Finally, from 2011 to 2019 he was appointed Superior of the community of San Gabriele dell'Addolorata and Rector of the same Sanctuary.

In the last two years he had returned to the community of Morrovalle, without holding specific posts.
