Venerable ANTONIETTA FARANI
Maria Concetta Farani (in religious life, Sr. Antoinetta of St. Michael the Archangel) consecrated herself to God among the Passionist Sisters of St. Paul of the Cross. She held positions of responsibility within the Congregation from mistress of novices to the directress of the school, including Provincial Superior. However she especially ministered to the sick, the dying and prisoners. She died from a brain tumor, which rendered her blind and paralyzed.
She was declared Venerable in 1992.
